I saw this small fir tree about 14″ tall on a pile of dirt in the middle of a newly cleared development. Somehow it had survived to this point.
By using several apps, listed below, I was able to turn this into something I like:
I could have stopped there, but by inverting the colors I got the following image that might look good as a large print:
