CAROLINA TIGER RESCUE – There are lots of ways to provide enrichment to exotic animals. My favorite is with a quad copter.
Tarzan, the smaller lion on the left and Sebastian, the larger lion in the video were fascinated by the flying pumpkin scarecrow. Whereas, Sheba was more interested in monitoring the installment of a large ball made out of fire hose in the enjoining shift by intern Monique.
Like all animals living at the Carolina Tiger Rescue, they get some form of enrichment every day which probably explains why the animals are so much more alert what you may have seen in typical roadside zoo.
Tarzan and Sebastian are male lions. They don’t have manes because they were neutered when they were young long before they came to the tiger rescue.
